Zelda Hendricks Jordan, 74, of DuPont passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her loving family after a short illness. She was born in Homerville to the late Sammie and Mary Thrift Hendricks and lived here all of her life. Ms. Jordan was a member of Shiloh Church and a homemaker. She always enjoyed shopping in thrift stores, fishing, going to the beach, and especially visiting with family and friends.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by twin sons, Mikell and Mitchell Jordan; one brother, Allen Hendricks.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and John Wayne Roundtree of Pearson, and Nicole and Stanley Raffield of DuPont; two sons and daughter-in-law, Al Jordan of Homerville, and Tony and Anisa Jordan of DuPont; ten grandchildren, John (Milyn) Roundtree, Heather Long, Krystin (John) Gray, Justin Jordan, Jessica (Dylan) Floyd, Gage (Caitlin) Raffield, Destiny Raffield, Brandon (Ellissa) Jordan, Drew (Katie) Dennis, and Joseph McElveen; eight great grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Kim and Gerald Hosack of Valdosta; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Andy and Faye Hendricks of Homerville, Matt and Carol Hendricks of Stockton, and Doug and Loretta Hendricks of Homerville; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A funeral service will be held Saturday morning, March 1, 2025, at 11 am at Shiloh Church Rev. Matt Hendricks and Pastor Nancy Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 8 pm at the funeral home.
