Zandra Huey Miles

Zandra Huey Miles, 80, of Brunswick, departed this life Sunday, October 2, 2022, at SGHS Brunswick Campus.  Funeral services will be conducted at 11am Thursday, October 6, 2022, in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Kenny Grant officiating.  Interment will follow in Pine Forest Cemetery in Homerville, Georgia at 3pm. 

Born November 21, 1941, in Douglas, Georgia to the late George Owen and Doris M. Huey, she was a graduate of Bacon County High School Class of 1959, and she attended Asbury College in Kentucky. Ms. Miles worked for Glynn County Health and Environmental Services and was a well-known pianist in the community. She was a member of Lakeside United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Dawn Shorb and husband Paul of Macon, GA, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. A brother, Gordon Huey and wife Betty Anne of Virginia Beach, VA, and a sister, Rebecca Huey of St. Simons Island, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday morning, October 6, 2022, from 10am until the funeral hour at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.
