Wynell Henderson Thompson

Wynell Henderson Thompson, 87, of Jasper formerly of Fargo passed away Wednesday (July 28, 2021) at Suwannee Valley Nursing Home after an illness. She was born in Echols County, GA to the late John Marion Henderson and Rosetta Padgett Henderson. Mrs. Thompson was a homemaker and of the Church of God faith.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Bennett Thompson; one sister, Cleona Cox; four brothers, Johnny Frank Henderson,, W.R. Henderson, Jessie Henderson, and Ralph Henderson.

Survivors include one son, Lawton Flanders, Jr. of Lake Park, GA; former daughter-in-law, Pamela McCrimmon of Lake Park, GA; two grandchildren, Crystal Dousharm (Robby) of Lake Park, GA, Christopher Flanders (Brandy) of Clyattville, GA; five grandchildren, Bryce Dousharm, Bryce Walker, Bridgette Dousharm, Aria Flanders, and Ollie Flanders; two sisters, Juanita Haygs of Chipley, FL and Magline Dodd of Valdosta, GA; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A graveside service will be held Saturday morning at 11 am at Boney Bluff Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:30 am at the cemetery.
