Daugharty (both deceased), sister Glenice Fogg (husband Bill Fogg), both deceased, also, brother George Ray Daugharty JR (wife Judy Daugharty). Her childhood growing up in Fargo, Georgia gave her a wonderful outlook on life and many cherished memories. She grew up with wonderful parents, siblings, cousins, aunts and uncles in the gateway to the Okefenokee Swamp. Willena attended elementary school in Fargo and high school at Clinch County High School where she was a cheerleader. The long bus rides from Fargo to Homerville as a youth, gave her a unique perspective on family and friends which lasted her entire life. She would carry on her education at Valdosta State as an Education major. She would also meet her future husband, during this time. William “Bill” Crewe, SR was an Air Force fighter pilot stationed at Moody AFB. They married in spring of 1958. She would begin her life as a military wife, moving from base to base while being a mother to her son’s Brad and Mark. Bill and Willena would eventually settle in Montgomery, AL, where they would operate a thriving real estate business, from 1978 until retirement. Our mother was an accomplished artist, painting beautiful artwork with acrylics and watercolors, for family and friends. Later in life, she began a blueberry farm with son, Mark which is still in operation today. She will be missed by family and friends alike. We are comforted by the promises in God’s Word of forgiveness, resurrection of the body and life everlasting through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. John 11:25 Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. A small graveside service will be held at Historical Antioch Methodist Church in Homerville, Georgia on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at 11 A.M, for family and close friends.
