William Henry “W.H.” Warren, 82 of Folkston formerly of Homerville passed away Friday, June 17, 2022, in Folkston after a short illness surrounded by his family. He was born in Wheeler County, GA to the late William and Martha Sellers Warren. Mr. Warren lived in Homerville most of his life where he retired from Conner Logging after many years of service. He was a member of Folkston Church of God and loved to go to church, his family, working, and especially loved to ride.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Rev. Carolyn Smith Warren and all of his siblings.
Survivors include two daughters, Lynne Yarbrough (husband Roy) of Folkston, and Leatha Yarbrough (husband Raymond) of Folkston; one son, Kelvin Warren (wife Cecilia) of Tampa, FL; seven grandchildren, Tamara Hall (husband Chad) of Baxley, Timothy Yarbrough (wife Emily) of Fernandina Beach, FL, Paul Michael Warren (wife Melissa) of Metter, Rebekah Peeples (husband Ryan) of Folkston, William Yarbrough (wife Erin) of Folkston, Jonathan Warren (wife Brienna) of Darien, and Luisa Mashash (Itay) of Lake Worth, FL; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A funeral service will be held Monday morning, June 20, 2022, at 11 am at New Vision Church of God in Homerville. Burial will follow in Pine Forest Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 until 8 pm at the funeral home.
