Richard Daniel Chauncey

Mr. Richard Daniel Chauncey, 63, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019, at the Clinch Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.   Mr. Chauncey was born December, 10 1955, in Homerville, GA to Mrs. Linda Lee Chauncey and the late James B. Chauncey. He was preceded in death by two brothers; James A. Chauncey and Darrell R. Chauncey.   Survivors are his companion of 15 years: Charleen West-Homerville, GA; two daughters: Sarah Chauncey-Florida and Deshai Richardson-Valdosta, GA; two sons: Danny Chauncey and Christopher Chauncey-Valdosta, GA; one step-daughter: Shelly West-Waycross, GA; one sister: Linda Sue Reliford-Homerville, GA; one brother: Karl Chauncey-Homerville, GA; 11 grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.   Funeral services for Mr. Chauncey will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 11am in the chapel of Roundtree Funeral Home.   Interment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery.   The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 13, 2019, from 10am until 11am at the funeral home.   Sympathy maybe expressed by signing the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net.   Roundtree Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
