Mary Bell Thomas

Mary Bell Thomas, 74, of Homerville passed away Wednesday morning, January 15, 2025, at Riverbrook Healthcare in Homerville after an extended illness. She lived in Homerville most of her life and was a member of Unity Christian Church. Ms. Thomas always enjoyed shopping in junk stores and fishing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Andrew Thomas; one daughter, Faye Thomas.

Survivors include her significant other for over twenty-five years, Mose “Buddy” Pittman of Homerville; two daughters, Marie Davis of Alma and Tonya Siffles (husband Ronnie) of Alma; three grandchildren, Brittany Tapley (husband Matt), Rachel Siffles, and Jerry Hunt, Jr.; three great-grandchildren, Callie Tapley, Kendal Tapley, and Katie Lynn Tapley; several other relatives.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am Friday, January 17, 2025, at Pine Forest Cemetery with Pastor Nancy Morgan officiating.
