Mrs. Mary Ellen Nash Sirmans, 59, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2020, in the South Georgia Medical Center, surronded by her loving family, following a brief illness. Mrs. Sirmans was born November 27, 1960, in, Lumber City, GA to the late Charles Nash and Martha Carter Nash. She was a homemaker and attended the Lighthouse Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years: John Oris Sirmans; one granddaughter: Carrington Joyce and a sister: Judy Nash. Survivors are three daughters and son-in-law: Jena Sirmans, Tanya Sirmans and Ellen Lee & John Andrew Young, III; one sister and brother-in-law: Jeanette & Hank Kenny; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Robert & Brenda Nash & Roger & Gwen Nash; one ex-brother-in-law: Buddy Selph; nine grandchildren: Kaleb Cason, Zachary Cason, Trenton Cason, Chloe Joyce, Kaisley Stanley, Kalei Walker, Aaron Walker, Jr., John Young, IV, and Brylee Young; one great granddaughter: Raianna Cason, a special granddaughter: Isabelle Wacasey; all of Homerville; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Sirmans will be held Friday, July 31, 2020 at ten o’clock at her residence, 1013 Five Mile Still Road, Homerville, GA. Interment will be in the Sirmans Rest Cemetery.
