Mrs. Mary Francis Thompson, Davis, 67, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at her residence, following an extended illness. Mrs. Davis was born January 2, 1952, in Homerville, GA, to the late Henry Ford Thompson and Adice Hutchison Thompson. She had worked at Clinch HealthCare and was preceded in death by two brothers: Charles Stephenson and Clifford Thompson. Survivors are her fiancé: John Carlson, Homerville; one daughter: Shelia Davis and fiancé Tony Herrin, Homerville; one son and daughter-in-law: Harvey Lee & Joylee Adams, Homerville; five sisters and brothers-in-law: Donna Fay & Jack Mefford, Brunswick, Lillie Mae & Lester Davis, Homerville, Betty Ann & Lewis Bennett, Argyle, Jeanette & David Morgan, Homerville and Katie Ruth Griffis, Homerville; two brothers: H. L. Thompson and Joseph Thompson, both of Homerville; ten grandchildren: Shauna & Bill Crawford, Veronica & Caleb Ayscue, Charlie Davis, Blake Herrin, Tina Fullard, Heather & James Farmer, Chad Adams, Jessica Beecher, Lauren Booth, Betsy Anna Adams; eleven great grandchildren: Mathew Davis, Bethany Crawford, Zane Crawford, Remi Ayscue, Karson Swearingen, Isaiah Minshew, Dawson, Minshew, Camron Minshew, Noah Minshew, Bralynn Whaley, Noah Church, a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Davis will be held Saturday, March 30, 2019 at three o’clock at the Shiloh Church. Interment will be in the Booth Cemetery.
