Linda "Sissy" Tew

Linda “Sissy” Howling Tew, 58, of Homerville passed away Saturday afternoon, November 16, 2024, at the Hospice Satilla Hospice House after an extended illness. She was born in Clinch County to Raymond Archie Howling and Delores Corbitt Willis and lived here all of her life. Mrs. Tew was a 1985 graduate of Clinch County High School. She was a member of Unity Church. Mrs. Tew always loved to fish, ride four wheelers, ride dirt roads and being outside.

She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Archie Howling; one son, Raymond Benjamin McMillan.

She is survived by her husband Tiger Tew of Homerville; two daughters, Ashley Ezell (Edward, Jr.) of Nashville, and Delores Deonna McMillan of Enigma; her mother and step-father, Delores and Tillman Willis of Fargo; eight grandchildren, Mikayla Ezell, Edward “Bubba” Ezell, Naylan Ezell, Kylan Ezell, Marsie Ezell, Levi Ezell, Dawson Alakee McMillan, and Chevi Kelee McMillan; three step-children, Andy Tew of Alabama, Kebo Tew of Alabama, and Kaylee Sharpe (Richard) of Ft. Myers, FL; nine step grandchildren, Clarrisa Sharpe, Richard Sharpe, Jr., Connor Tew, Colby Tew, Aubrey Tew, Woodrow Tew, Cason Tew, Ariel Tew, and Tagart Tew; one sister, Beth Levinton (Blake) of Homerville; four brothers, William Howling (Tina) of Fargo, Ray Howling (Cheryl) of Homerville, Brent Howling (Rachelle) of Waresboro, and Donnie Manac (Adrienne) of Homerville; her mother-in-law, Helen Tew of Homerville; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday afternoon, November 20, 2024, at 2 pm at Shiloh Church with Rev. Michael Taylor and Rev. Nancy Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon beginning at 1 pm at Shiloh Church.
