Lillie Lee Sutton Crumley, 95, of Manor passed away Tuesday afternoon (Feb. 23, 2021) at her residence after an extended illness. She was born in Atkinson County to the late Johnnie and Arminda Morgan Sutton. Mrs. Crumley lived in Manor most of her life and retired from Sportswear in Waycross. She worked at the Red Barn and rode a garbage truck in Waycross in her seventies and was a member of Camp Branch Church of God of Prophecy. Mrs. Crumley had a great sense of humor and always enjoyed life.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Hubert Crumley; son, W.J. Floyd; three sisters, Louise Herrington, Evelyn Kozuch, and Mary Ann Corbitt; three brothers, John Sutton, Bud Sutton, and Roy Sutton.
Survivors include one daughter, Betsy Davis (Larry) of Manor; one daughter-in-law, Lois Floyd of Fort Wayne, IN; three sisters: Faye Higgs, Manor, Opal Peterson, Douglas and Pearlie Stone (Jim), Dothan, AL one brother: Archie Sutton, Hampton, SC; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 am at Camp Branch Church of God of Prophecy. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday from 10 till 11 am at the church.
