Mrs. Laura Bell Corbitt Beverley, 63, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2020, in the South Georgia Medical Center, Valdosta, following an extended illness. Mrs. Beverley was born, June 18, 1956, in Homerville, GA to the late Randel Jackson Corbitt and Lucille Lee Corbitt. She had worked at B-Way and attended the Place of Blessings Church of God. Survivors are her husband: Harry Lee Beverley, Sr.; one daughter and son-in-law: Tracy Lynn & Alan Mercer, Waycross; one son: Harry Lee Beverley, Jr., Homerville; four sisters: Maggie Pittman, Josephine Griffin, Delores Willis and Fannie Lee Fitzgerald, all of Homerville; four brothers: Raymond Corbitt and Leonard Corbitt, both of Homerville, Lucious Corbitt, Fargo and Jimmy Corbitt, Statenville; one granddaughter: Jada Lynn Mercer, Waycross; several nieces, nephews and a number of other relatives. Graveside services for Mrs. Beverley will be held Saturday, March 28, 2020 at eleven o’clock in the Shiloh Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 28, 2020 from ten till eleven a.m. at the Shiloh Church Cemetery.
