Joseph Tarrell Strickland, Jr.

Mr. Joseph Tarrell Strickland, Jr., passed away Friday, October 16, 2020, in the Memorial Satilla Hospital, Waycross, following a brief illness. Mr. Strickland was born, July 17, 1951, in Lake Worth, FL, to the late Joseph Tarrell Strickland, Sr. and Frances Strickland. He attended the Place of Blessings Church of God in Argyle and was a mechanic by trade. Survivors are his wife: Leatha Ann Tiner Strickland, Argyle; three sons: Joseph Shannon Strickland, Sr. (Miranda), Argyle, Christopher Byron Strickland (Alysia), Hortence, and Zachory Strickland (Lindsey), Homerville; ten grandchildren: Joseph Shannon Strickland, Jr. (Taylor), Brenlin Cheyenne Strickland, Triston Strickland, Taryn Pickren, Layton Strickland, Adilyn Strickland, Maddox Strickland, Lincon Strickland and Mykayla Saylors; three great grandchildren: Elijah Strickland, Amelia Strickland and Sawyer Williams; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. The family will receive friends Monday, October 19, 2020 from 6 till 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorialization will be by cremation.
