Johnny Franklin Hillhouse

Johnny Franklin Hillhouse, 81, of Homerville passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025, at River Brook Nursing Home after an extended illness. He was born in Perry, FL to the late Claude Cecil Hillhouse and Esther Holmes Hillhouse. Mr. Hillhouse lived in Florida for many years and Georgia for many years and worked for Lee Engineering as a Mechanic. He was of the Church of God faith. Mr. Hillhouse enjoyed watching football but especially having family and friends over to watch Nascar Races.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Hillhouse, two children, Deidre Stalvey and Sean D,wayne Hillhouse; one sister, Elmaree Nelms.

Survivors include five grandchildren, Kalilyah Hillhouse, Deliylah Hillhouse of Douglas, Margan Giddens and Adam Giddens of Bunnell, FL and Rylie Stalvey of Lakeland; one sister, Bonnie Kay Evans of Homerville; one brother, Raymond Hillhouse of Homerville; stepdaughter, Melody Gibson of Bunnell, FL; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday afternoon, February 11, 2025, at 3 pm at the Roundtree Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in North Cemetery near DuPont.

The family will receive friends beginning at 2 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
