John Anthony Currier

March 28, 1942 — July 21, 2019

Mr. John Anthony Currier, 77, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2019, in the Heritage House, Valdosta, following a short illness.   Mr. Currier was born March 28, 1942, in Buffalo, NY to the late John G. Currier and Margaret Currier. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and had worked at B-Way for 30 plus years. He was a member of the Homerville Free Will Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Patty Meade Currier, two daughters; Tonya Anne Smith and Tori Allison Currier.   Survivors are one daughter: Tara (Danny) Singletary, Lake Park, GA; one sister: Ruth Wright, New York; one brother: Mike Currier, New York; seven grandchildren: Tia (Terrence) George, Tyler Smith, Tyron Smith, Shade Lawson, Christopher Lawson, Lexus Lawson and Jarid Singletary; two great grandchildren: Annalee George and Avery George; one son-in-law: Henry Smith, Homerville, a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.   Funeral services for Mr. Currier will be held Thursday, July 25, 2019 at eleven o’clock at the Homerville Free Will Baptist Church.   Interment will be in the Shiloh Church Cemetery.   The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 24, 2019, from 6 till 8 p.m. at the funeral home.   Sympathy maybe expressed by signing the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net.   Roundtree Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
