JoAnn Smith Herrin

Mrs. Peggy JoAnn Smith Herrin, 81, passed away Friday, April 19, 2019, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family, following an extended illness,.   A native and lifelong resident of Clinch County, she was born May 31, 1937, to the late Jo Lee Smith and Lola Mae Thomas Smith. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Vision Church of God. She was preceded in death by three sisters: Ruth Sears, Hazel Smith and Mildred Highsmith; three brothers: Joe Smith, Glen Smith and Adolph Smith.   Survivors are her husband: Bruce Herrin; two daughters and sons-in-law: Darlene & Donald Johnson and Susan & Gary Allen; three grandchildren: Pam Johnson, Christina & Michael O’Brien and Brandi Delk; two great grandchildren: Chaston O’Brien and Colton O’Brien all of Homerville; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.   Funeral services for Mrs. Herrin will be held Monday, April 22, 2019 at two o’clock at the New Vision Church of God.   Interment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery.   The family will receive friends Monday, April 22, 2019, from 12 till 2 p.m. at the New Vision Church of God.   Sympathy maybe expressed by signing the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net.   Roundtree Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
