Huey "Butch" L. Hendrix

Mr. Huey Larkin “Butch” Hendrix, 77, passed away Monday, Sept. 23, 2024, in the Clinch Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Hendrix was born, August 27, 1947, in Homerville, GA, to the late Huey Hendrix and Doris Landrum Hendrix. He was a high school graduate and a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was a member and deacon of the Shiloh Church and had worked at Union Tank Car as a supervisor. He was preceded in death by his father and mother; one son: David Hendrix and one brother: Wayne Hendrix.

Survivors are his wife: Sandra Smith Hendrix; one daughter: Jennifer Hendrix; one brother: Ronnie Hendrix (Kathy); all of Homerville and one sister: Dicie Henderson, Manor; a special friend: Terry Harris; several nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Memorial services will be held Friday, October 11, 2024 at 2 p.m. in the Shiloh Church, with Rev. Jerry Baldree and Mr. Damon Chauncey officiating.

The family will greet friends after the service.
