Mr. Hoke Herrin, Jr., passed away Thursday, January 2, 2020, in the Lakeland Villa, surrounded by his loving family, following an extended illness. Mr. Herrin was born September 13, 1939, in Homerville, GA to the late Hoke Herrin, Sr. and Cleo Corbitt Herrin. He was employed with B-Way for around 40 years. He was preceded in death by a sister-in-law: JoAnn Herrin and brother-in-law: L.J. Briley. Survivors are his wife of 59 years: Mary Lounette Young Herrin, Homerville; four children: Robbin Hoke (Jena) Herrin, Tanya Melissa “Lisa” Herrin (Joe) Bourdeau, Pamela Denine (Glynn) Nelson and Jerrell Clifton (Brenda) Herrin; 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; sisters and brother: Bruce Herrin, Janice (John) Harper, Raymond (Jean) Herrin, Jackie (Lester) Cribbs, Johnny (Terry) Herrin, Dwight (Brenda) Herrin and Mildred Herrin Briley, several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mr. Herrin will be held Sunday, January 5, 2020 at three o’clock at the New Vision Church of God. Interment will be in the Lang Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 4, 2020 from six till eight p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Herrin will be carried to the church one hour prior to the services.
