Mr. Harvey Lee Adams, 48, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2020, in the Clinch Memorial Hospital, following a short illness.
Mr. Adams was born, January 18, 1972, in Norfolk, VA. He was member of the Big Island Hunting Club, where he enjoyed all types of hunting. He worked for J & H Stumping and was preceded in death by his mother: Mary Frances Thompson Davis.
Survivors are his wife: Joy Lee Henderson Adams, Homerville; four daughters and sons-in-law: Betsy Anna Adams and Lauren & Tyler Peek, both of Homerville, Heather & James Farmer, Naylor and Jessica Beacher, Waycross; two sons: Chad Adams and Dekoda Newbern, both of Homerville: his father & step mother: Jimmy & Kitty Adams, Axson, GA; his step father: John Carlson, Homerville; one sister: Shelia Davis, Homerville; three brothers; James Adams, Texas, Clarence Adams, Thomasville, Mitchell Adams, Thomasville, seven grandchildren: Isaiah Minshew, Dawson Minshew, Camron Minshew, Noah Minshew, Noah Church, Bralynne Whaley and Jesslee Peek; Father and Mother-in-law; Danny and Marion Henderson; Sister-in-law and husband; April and Franklin Thomas; Brother-in-law and wife Wesley and Vicky Henderson, nieces and nephews: Shauna & Bill Crawford, Veronica & Caleb Ayscue, Charlie Davis, Cheyenne Henderson, Tina Broome, Shelby Henderson, William Thomas, Elanna Thomas, Carla Henderson, Tye Henderson and Matt & Shelby Henderson; great nieces and nephews: Remi Ayscue, Matthew Davis, Bethany Crawford, Zane Crawford, Tinleigh Henderson, Garrison Henderson and Faith Henderson and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services for Mr. Adams will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at eleven o’clock at the Lighthouse Assembly of God.
Interment will be in the North Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday, June 15, 2020 from six till eight p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Adams will be carried to the church one hour prior to the services.
