Fair Resa Godwin

Mrs. Fair Resa White Godwin, 67, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2023.

Mrs. Godwin was born November 30, 1955, in Millwood, GA to the late Robert Leon White and Mary Estell Mixon White. She was of the Pentecostal faith.  She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters: Fernisea W. Martin, Frances Stokes and Fedelia Rowland; four brothers: Roe Mixon, Jerry White, Rosburn “Robbie” White and Ronnell White.

Survivors are one son: Richard Murray (Vonda), Mt. Vernon, IL; three daughters: Brandi Steedley, (Jerry Cowart), Sandi Wilson and KeeKee Holmes all of Homerville; two brothers: Ronsea White (Bernice), Homerville and Randall White (Thelma “Rickey”), Surrency, GA; twelve grandchildren: Macy Ellis (Christian), Darra Murray (Joseph Gray), Ricky Murray (Lexie), Preston Reich, Gunner Steedley (Taylor), Logan Wilson (Hannah), Caleb Wilson (Carly), Clara Grace Steedley, Alex Murray, Madison Wilson, Daniel James and David James; 10 great grandchildren: Payton, Lincoln, Noah, Ezra, Linden, Zane, Jesse, Tate, Bowen and Paisleigh; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Graveside memorial services for Mrs. Godwin will be held Thursday, March 16, 2023, at four o’clock in the Shiloh Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 till 4 at the cemetery.
