Homerville, GA Mrs. Eleanor Lucille Studebaker, 93, passed away, Thursday, September 27, 2018, at her residence, following an extended illness. Mrs. Studebaker was born January 30, 1925 in Manor, GA to the late Frank & Margaret Fallow Smith. Before retirement, she had worked for the Clinch County Board of Education in the elementary school lunchroom. Mrs. Studebaker was a member of the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lee Studebaker. Survivors are four sons and daughters in law: Wayne & Phyllis Studebaker-Bushnell, FL, Ronald Lee “Ronnie” Studebaker(Barbara Ann Erwin), Clark & Sherry Studebaker, Mark and Shelly Studebaker- all of Homerville; one sister: Winiford Godbolt-Waycross, GA; three brothers: William “Red” Smith and Gerald(Lorraine)Smith both of Homerville, Nathaniel(Jeanette) Smith-Lake Panasoffkee, FL; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Studebaker will be held Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Shiloh Church. Interment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery.
