Alison Elaine Selph Bennett, 43, of Homerville passed away Monday, Nov. 29, 2021, at South Georgia Medical Center after an extended illness. She was born in Baxley, GA and lived in Homerville most of her life. Ms. Bennett loved to go fishing, riding in the woods, and especially working in her flowers in her yard.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Corbin Bennett; maternal grandparents Charles and Martha Nash; paternal grandparents John and Margaret Selph.
Survivors include two children, Edward Bennett of Homerville and Kylee Elaine Shaw of Homerville; one grandson, Nikolai Smithwick of Homerville; her mother and step-father, Jeanette and Hank Kenney of Homerville; father and step-mother, Buddy and Lydia Selph of Homerville; one brother, Edward Selph of Homerville; two step-sisters, Amy Collins of Adel, and Beverlee Roberson (Kenneth) of Hahira; special friend, Ray Coody of Valdosta; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.
A graveside memorial service will be held Friday morning at 11 am at Pine Forest Cemetery.
