Charlie Stewart

Mr. Charlie Stewart, 54, passed away, Tuesday, March 9, 2021, in the Shands Hospital, Gainesville, FL, following an automobile accident on February 18, 2021.

Mr. Stewart was born, February 6, 1967, in Homerville, GA, to the late Vernie Stewart, Sr. and Mary Lois Cloud Stewart James.  He was a self-employed seller of plants and animals. He loved the outdoors, like fishing, and camping and attended the Lovejoy Community Church. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, his wife, Sandy Marie Gilbreth Stewart, of 36 years who passed away on February 18, 2021; one brother: Vernie Stewart, Jr.; two sisters: Verna Price and Jacqueline Cooler.    

Survivors are one daughter: Cindy Stewart, Homerville; one son: Charlie Stewart (Kendra), Homerville; two sisters: Gail Manac (Ronnie Colbert), Argyle and Karyl Sue Cox (Robert), Perry, FL; four grandchildren: Makenzie Stewart, Rachel Stewart, Hailey Stewart and Kaylynn Steedley; four nieces: Karla & family, Christin & family, Robbie Sue & family, and Lisa & family; four nephews: Will & family, Bubz & family, Louis Lee Cooler III, and Earnest Jason Cooler.; and several other relatives.

Funeral services for Mr. Stewart will be held Saturday, March 13, 2021 at eleven o’clock at the Place of Blessings Church of God, Argyle.

Interment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery, Homerville.

The family will receive friends Friday, March 12, 2021 from 6 till 8 p.m. at the funeral home and at other times at the home of Charlie Stewart, 5590 Valdosta Highway, Homerville, GA 31634.
