Mr. Bonnie Bois Manac, Sr., 86, of Fruitland passed away Friday evening, May 26, 2023, at South Georgia Medical Center after a short illness. He was born in Atmore, AL to the late Harvey and Lonnie Bell Henson Manac. Mr. Manac was retired from A & B Distributors as a truck driver and was a member of Fruitland Church of God.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Lee Chauncey Manac; one son, Bennie Manac; one sister, Lavern Stabler; four brothers, Don Manac, Calvin Manac, Carl Wayne Manac, and Alvin “Tiny” Manac.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Bonnie “BooBoo” and Christy Manac, Jr. of Lake Park, Don and Audrey Manac of Fruitland; seven grandchildren, Justin Manac, Katie Odom (Kaylon), Shane Manac (Dazey), Brooklynn Henning (Rees), Brandon Manac (Grace), Abby Manac, Eric Wilkes (Tiffany); thirteen great-grandchildren; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol and Billy Graddy of Fargo, Maggie Johns of Homerville, Cathy and Dolan Carver of Fruitland, and Sue and Randy Stone of Pearson; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Carlvin and Pat Manac of DuPont and James Carl and Diane Manac of Statenville; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday morning, May 30, 2023, at 11 am at Wayfare Primitive Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 until 8 pm at Fruitland Church of God.
