Billy Jack Melton

Mr. Billy Jack Melton, 47, passed away suddenly, Friday, October 11, 2024.

Mr. Melton was born July 30, 1977, in Rome, GA to Mrs. Kathy Wanell Royals Melton and the late Billy Jack Corbitt. He was an equipment operator for Corbitt Site Construction. He was preceded in death by his father and one daughter: Dianna Melton.

Survivors other than his mother are one daughter: Jacklyn Mixon (Jim), Manor; one brother: Jason Corbitt (Melissa), Hilliard, FL; two sisters: April Melton and Robin Melton, both of Lakeland, GA; four grandsons: James Alton Mixon, Mark Mixon, William Mixon, and Jack Mixon; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Graveside services for Mr. Melton will be held Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024 at 2 p.m. in the North Cemetery, DuPont, GA.

The family will receive friends at 12:30 till 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
