Mrs. Annie Lounette “Teen-Ince” Smith Shirley, 84, passed away Monday, August 3, 2020, at her home, surrounded by her loving family, following an extended illness. Mrs. Shirley was born September 4, 1935, in Homerville, GA to the late Lonnie A. Smith and Maggie Aline Smith Smith. She was a homemaker and had worked at Young’s Five & Dime. She was a member of the New Vision Church of God and was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Shirley, Jr., one sister: Betty Ruth Smith and one brother: Aaron K. Smith. Survivors are two daughters and son-in-law: Teresa Shirley, Albany and Shaunell & Glenn Wilson, Homerville; one son and daughter-in-law: Ralph & Joy Shirley, Blackshear; one brother: Sunky Smith, Homerville; a special daughter: Peggy Bashline, Albany; four grandchildren: William Shirley, Amanda & Glenn Shirley, Hannah Shirley and Christy Pittman; five great grandchildren: Dillon Brown, Will Davis, Connor Davis, Hunter Shirley and Hensley Shirley; a special nephew: Sandy Studer, Homerville, a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley will be held Thursday, August 6, 2020 at two o’clock in the Chapel of Roundtree Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 6, 2020 from one till two p.m. at the funeral home. Sympathy maybe expressed by signing the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net.
