Fargo, GA Mrs. Helen Monett Allen Tison, 79, passed away Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010, in the Heritage Healthcare of Valdosta. Mrs. Tison was born Jan. 29, 1931 in Hahira, to the late Talmadge Barton and Maude Touchton Barton. She was a member of the Edith Baptist Church and had worked for the Clinch County School Board and St. Regis Paper Company and was manager of the Cypress Creek Blueberry Farm. She was the widow of Bob Tison and was preceded in death by one step-son, Don Tison and one brother, Wallace Barton. Survivors are one daughter: Denise “Sissy” Allen Huelsnitz, Valdosta; one son: Franklin Marion “Jabo” Allen, Jr., Fargo; one step-daughter: Suzanne Tyson, Fargo; two step-sons: Cecil Tison, Leesburg, FL and Troy & Karen Tison, Pendergrass, GA; step daughter-in-law: Pam Tison, Homerville ; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Lois & Dr. Joseph Houston, Valdosta, Betty & Dr. Gene Giles, Blakely, GA and Bobbi Spikes, Fargo; ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several other relatives. Services for Mrs. Tison will be held Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. from the Edith Baptist Church, Fargo. Internment will be in the Fargo Memorial Cemetery The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 14, 2010, from 6 till 8 p.m. at the Edith Baptist Church.
