Mrs. Jacquelyn Atwell O’Berry Johns, 75, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2010, in the South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta. Mrs. Johns was born March 10, 1935 in Ware County to the late Wilson C. O’Berry and Odessa Spikes O’Berry. She had worked for B’ Way and was a member of the Indian Mound Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two sons Harry E. Johns and Joseph Michael Johns. Survivors are her Husband, Levi Johns of Homerville; Two daughters, Atwell Johns Raymond and Renee Johns Noonan both of Homerville; four sons, Ronnie Johns, Terry Johns, Marshall Johns all of Homerville and Timothy Johns of Gulfport, MS; a brother, Rondal O’Berry of Millwood, GA; and eleven grandchildren, Steven Johns, Harry Johns. Mandy Delk, Joseph M Johns II, Jonathan Johns, Christopher Johns, Kyle Joyner, Mathew Johns, Paige Johns, John Mark Johns, and Amber Noonan and eleven great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services for Mrs. Johns will be held Monday Aug. 2, 2010, at eleven O’clock from the Indian Mound Missionary Baptist Church at Millwood. Internment will be in the Indian Mound Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday night from 7 till 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Johns will be carried to the Church two hours prior to the services.
