Miss Annette Pittman, 44, passed away Friday, July 2, 2010, in the Clinch Memorial Hospital, following a brief illness. Miss Pittman was born Dec. 7, 1965, in Clinch County. She attended Clinch County Schools and everyone who met her couldn’t help but love her because Miss Pittman’s personality was so honest and pure. The joy on her face when someone came by for a visit was genuine, for she would tell her entire family who stopped by and she loved her family immensely. Miss Pittman also enjoyed fishing and watching T.V. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ida Lillian Holmes Pittman, five uncles, four aunts and several cousins. Miss Pittman leaves to cherish her memory, her adoring father, Ira Pittman, Homerville; two brothers and sister-in-law: Floyd Pittman, Homerville and Bobby & Kim Pittman, DuPont; one sister and brother-in-law: Betty Sue & Johnnie Hendrick, Homerville; six nieces and nephews: Johnnie Hendrick, Jr., Becky Hendrick, Steven Hendrick and Rachel Pittman all of Homerville, Dylan Harrell and Hunter Pittman of DuPont; four uncles: Eddie Pittman, Samuel Pittman and James & Sophronia Pittman of Homerville, and Ernest & Viola Holmes of Kingsland; three aunts: Mary & Leo Bagley, Homerville, Thelma Miller, Paducah, KY and Elder Pittman, Killeen, TX and numerous cousins and friends. Services for Miss Pittman will be Monday, July 5, 2010, at three o’clock from the chapel of Roundtree Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Shiloh Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 4, 2010, from 6 till 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Roundtree Funeral Home is serving the Pittman Family.
