Homerville, GA Mrs. Essie Bell Williams Posley, 95, passed away Monday, April 5, 2010, at Clinch Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Posley was born August 2, 1914, in High Springs, FL, to the late Jessie Williams & Viola McNish Williams. She was a homemaker & a member of the St. Mark Baptist Church, where she served as an Usher. Mrs. Posley was preceded by her husband Charlie Posley; two sons: Arthur Posley, & Daniel Posley; a daughter: Susann Brand; five sisters: Cara Niblack, Florence Johnson, Eva Lily, Annie Lee Tomlin, & Willie Bell Williams; three brothers: Ralph Williams, Jessis Williams, & Wallace Williams. Survivors are three daughters Jessie (Frank) Ingram, of Homerville, Bertha Clark, of Lakeland, & Laura C. Young, of Douglas; three sons: Arcell (Barbara) Posley, Charles (Lottie) Posley, all of Homerville, & Willie James (Glenda) Posley, of Waycross; a devoted and loving Niece: Donnie Mosley, of Ft. White, FL; sixty grandchildren; seventy-two great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins; loving friends Winston Peterson and Lamar & Betty Lankford; Mrs. Posley will be greatly missed by all. Services for Mrs. Posley will be held Saturday, April 10, 2010, at two o'clock from New Vision Church of God. Internment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from the Roundtree Funeral Home, Friday evening, April 9, 2010, from 6 til 8 pm. Mrs. Posley will be carried to the church one hour prior to services.
