Homerville, GA Rev. James Martin Wilson 88, passed away Wednesday evening, January 27, 2010, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Rev. Wilson was born June 11, 1921, in Atkinson County, to the late W.M. Wilson, Sr. & Mary Corbitt Wilson. He was retired owner of Jim & Martin’s Garage, a member of the Homerville Free Will Baptist Church, was a minister for 27 years & Pastored the Enigma Congregational Christian Church until his retirement in 2005. Rev. Wilson was preceded by his first wife: Pauline Delk Wilson; a daughter: Lisa Tindall; one brother: W.N. Wilson; & one sister: Quida Wilson Hamilton. Survivors are his wife: Shirley Davis Wilson, of Homerville; three daughters & sons-in-law: Susan Wilson Sparks (Scott), of Ray City, Natasha Wilson Gillis (Ben), of Homerville, & Linda Tindall Chance (Frank), of Adel; three sons & daughters-in-law: Jimmy Wilson (Evelyn), of Homerville, Otis Tindall (Melissa), of Valdosta, & Steve Tindall (Julie), of Marian, FL; one sister & brother-in-law: Marilu Wilson Hinson (Harmon), of Homerville; a brother: W. M. Wilson, Jr. (Carolyn), of Homerville; seventeen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson; & several other relatives. Services for Rev. Wilson will be held Friday, January 29, 2010, at two o'clock from Homerville Free Will Baptist church. Internment will be in the Arabia Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from the Roundtree Funeral Home, Thursday, January 28, 2010, from 6 til 8pm. Roundtree Funeral Home is serving the Wilson Family.
