Mary Ann Davis Delk Guy

Homerville, GA Mrs. Mary Ann Davis Delk Guy, 67, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018, in the Memorial Satilla Health, Waycross, GA, following an extended illness. Mrs. Guy was born November 27, 1950, in Homerville, GA to the late Edward Davis and Mary Jeanette Higgs Deese. She had worked as an LPN at the Nursing Home for 14 years and then at Clinch Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Lighthouse Assembly of God. She loved cooking, camping, fishing and spending time with her grandchildren and was preceded in death by her husband: Richard L. "R.L. Guy and one son: Henry “Tug” Delk. Survivors are one daughter and son-in-law: Tammy and Perry Thompson, Manor; two step daughters and step sons-in-law: Donna & Todd Meadows, New Baden, IL and Leonda Thomson & Justin Radford, Springhill, TN; two step sons and step daughters-in-law: Richard “Reb” & Heather Guy, Homerville, GA and Kyle “Rooster” & Stephanie Guy, Axson, GA; four grandchildren: Caleb Thompson, Jack Thompson, Henry “Tuggie” Delk and Desirae Delk, several step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Guy will be held Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018 at one o’clock from the Lighthouse Assembly of God. Interment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018 from 6 till 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
