Homerville, GA Mrs. Annie Ruth Henderson Hendrix, 64, passed away Friday, December 8, 2017, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family, following an extended illness. Mrs. Hendrix was born February 26, 1953, in Manor, GA to the late Fleming Folks Henderson and Annie Mae Morgan Henderson. She was a member of the New Vision Church of God and was retired from the Clinch County High School Lunchroom Staff. She loved hunting, fishing, working in her flowers but most of all cooking and doing for her family. She was preceded in death by three sisters: Earnestine Oliver, Wanda Brewer and Mary Browning; one brother: Walter Henderson; and one brother-in-law: Wayne Hendrix. Survivors are her husband: Ronnie Hendrix, Homerville; two sons and daughters-in-law: Ricky Gordon & Margie Hendrix and Michael Ronnie & Ginger Hendrix all of Homerville; one sister: Karen Nichols, Surrency, GA; four grandchildren: Les & Frances Hendrix, Lacey & Cole Green, Amelia & Dalton Rowell, and Aniston Hendrix; three great grandchildren: Charlee Hendrix, Dan Green and J.P. Green; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Butch & Sandy Hendrix and daughter Jennifer, Homerville; two sisters-in-law: Dicie Henderson, Manor and Martha & Lowell Booth, Manor; her most favorite companion, her dog, Honey Bee Sassy and several other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Hendrix will be held Monday, December 11, 2017 at eleven o’clock at the New Vision Church of God. Interment will be in the Shiloh Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 10, 2017 starting 6 p.m. at the New Vision Church of God.
