Blackshear, GA Outstretched Arms Ministry Mr. William Otto Whaley, 60, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at the Hospice House in Waycross, GA, surrounded by his loving family, following a short illness. Mr. Whaley was born December 1, 1956, in Wauchula, FL, to the late Samuel and Wilma Whaley. He was a member of New Hope Fellowship Church Waycross, GA. He was preceded in death by his mother Wilma, father Samuel, one daughter; Cierra Tia Wells, and one grandson Delsin(first born son of Tim & Wakenya). Survivors are his wife Rhonda Whaley, Blackshear, GA; two daughters and sons in law: April Clewis Whaley (Eric Glover), Homerville, GA, & Lucreatia(Reese)Welch, Titusville, FL; three sons and daughters in law; William Otto Whaley Jr., Arizona, Timothy(Wakenya)Whaley, Bartow, FL, & Kaleb Whaley(Heather Schneider), Blackshear, GA; six sisters and brothers in law: Christine(Marlin)Price, Karen(Donnie)Tibbs, Judy Whaley, all of Wauchula, FL, Glenda(Mike)Croley, Daytona, FL, Debbie(Joe)Soto, North Carolina, & Phillis(Ray) Hoff, Indiana; four brothers: Randy Whaley & former wife Bev Whaley, Wauchula, FL, Jimmy Summerall, McAlpin, FL, Jackie Summerall, Florida & Robert Summerall, Arkansas; 11 grandchildren, and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mr. Whaley will be held Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 3 o’clock at New Hope Fellowship Church in Waycross, GA. Interment will be in the Zenith Baptist Church Cemetery in Manor, GA. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 from 1pm to 3 p.m. at New Hope Fellowship Church.
