Janice "Jan" Johnston Stalvey

Homerville, GA Mrs. Janice “Jan” Johnston Stalvey, 65, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at her daughter’s residence, following an extended illness. Mrs. Stalvey was born August 10, 1951, in Cogdell, GA, to the late Johnny Will Johnston, Sr. and Rzona Deen Johnston. She was a homemaker and attended the Place of Blessings Church of God, Argyle. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Billy Johnston and Bobby Johnston. Survivors are one daughter: Amber Munoz, Homerville; one son and daughter-in-law: William “Will” & Kristy Goss, Homerville; one brother and sister-in-law: Johnny Will & Debbie Johnston, Jr., Homerville; one sister-in-law: Judy Johnston, Homerville; four grandchildren: Daniel Munoz, Chelsea & Nathan Guess, Madelynn Goss and Callen Goss, one great granddaughter: Aria Guess; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Stalvey will be held Sunday, June 11, 2017 at three o’clock from the Place of Blessings Church of God, Argyle. Interment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Stalvey will be carried to the church one hour prior to the services.
