Homerville, GA Ms. Michele Lee Stephens, 47, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2017, in the Langdale Hospice House, Valdosta, surrounded by her loving family, following a short illness. Ms. Stephens was born April 5, 1970, in Adel, GA. She was a supervisor over the rest areas and was a member of the Live Oak Free Holiness Church. Survivors are her fiancé Walter Widdifield, Homerville; her father: Roger Dale Stephens, Homerville; her mother: Mayo Marie Harris Stephens; four daughters: Kyoletia Marie Thomason and fiancé Robby Dock Day, Homerville; Kristy (Trey) Bryan, Sparks, GA, Maricia Dale (Johnny Lee) Thomas, Homerville, and Kayla Michele DeBruhl, Homerville; one brother: Van (Melissa) Stephens, Homerville; eight grandchildren: Kyleigh Howell, Elli DeBruhl, John Bryan, Diana DeBruhl, Gracee Lynn Day, Nehemiah Thomas, Elijah Thomas, Logan Bryan, a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Ms. Stephens will be held Saturday, April 29, 2017 at eleven o’clock from the New Vision Church of God. Interment will be in the Leila Cemetery, Lennox, GA The family will receive friends Friday, April 28, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Ms. Stephens will be carried to the church one hour prior to the services.
