Homerville, GA Mr. Milton Elliott Stalvey, 61, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017, in the South Georgia Medical Center, Valdosta, following a brief illness. Mr. Stalvey was born July 14, 1955, in Homerville, GA. He was a self-employed truck driver and member of the Lighthouse Assembly of God. He was preceded in death by his father: Huey Milton Stalvey; his paternal grandparents: Wiley & Irene Stalvey, and his maternal grandparents: Harmon Van Jeffords and Leila Garren Jeffords Henderson. Survivors are one daughter: Daneen Stalvey, Crosby, TX; one step daughter: Onisa McNichols, Baytown, TX; one step son: Chris Rivera, Baytown, TX; his mother: Doris Jeffords Stalvey, Powder Springs, GA; one loving sister: Jeannie S. Smith, Powder Springs, GA; two adoring nieces: Sydney Smith and Savannah Smith, both of Powder Springs, GA; three grandchildren: Christopher Len Keyes, Jr., Paul Jacob Keyes and Liam Lewis Fleming; man’s best friend, Jessie James Stalvey and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mr. Stalvey will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at two o’clock from the Lighthouse Assembly of God. Interment will be in the Pine Forest Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, March 27, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Lighthouse Assembly of God.
