Willard Jay Prescott

Lakeland, GA Mr. Willard Jay Prescott, 46, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family, following an extended illness. Mr. Prescott was born June 3, 1970, in Jacksonville, FL. He had worked for Greenway Services and attended the Church of God. He was preceded in death by his father Willard J. Prescott. Survivors are one son: Dakota Prescott, Lakeland, GA; his mother: Nancy Wisseman, Middleburg, FL; three sisters: Tina Prescott, MacClenny, FL, Gwen Prescott and Chastity Prescott, both of Middleburg, FL; four brothers: Wayne Prescott, Lakeland, James Prescott, Orange Park, FL, Kenneth Wigner, Conway SC and Ronnie Lane, Jacksonville, FL; a special friend Lacinda Anderson, Lakeland, and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mr. Prescott will be held Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017 at two o’clock from the Chapel of Roundtree Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Ramah Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
