Calista Twisdale Thomas

Fargo, GA Mrs. Calista Ann Twisdale Thomas, 67, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at her residence, following a brief illness. Mrs. Thomas was born March 31, 1949, in Miami, FL, to the late James Keating and Eilene Gurly Keating. She was the office manager for Superior Pine and was a member of the Fargo United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy “Bill” Thomas and one brother, Norman Twisdale. Survivors are two sons and daughters-in-law: Jamie & Maureen Thomas, Peachtree City, GA and John & Diane Thomas, Panama City Beach, FL; seven grandchildren: Tristan Thomas, River Thomas, Violet Thomas, Calista Shea & Chris Holmes, Kyra Clark, Kacie Clark and Gary Clark; one great grandchildren: Brock Avery Thomas; four nieces and nephews: Eric Twisdale, Tim Twisdale, Debra Leavitt and Norm Twisdale, Jr. and a number of other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Thomas will be held Saturday, November 26, 2016, at two o’clock from the Fargo United Methodist Church, Fargo GA. Interment will be in the Fargo Memorial Cemetery, Fargo, GA The family will receive friends Friday, November 25, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
