Homerville, GA Mr. Elton Cribbs, Sr., 69, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2009, at the South Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Cribbs was born July 10, 1939, in Clinch County, to the late Ruby May Cribbs, and Isom Dewey Cribbs. He was a warehouse manager for Evans Wood Products, and was Baptist by Faith. Mr. Cribbs was preceded in death by a brother: Melvin Allen Cribbs. Survivors are his mother: Sara Mae Cribbs, of Fargo; three daughters & a son-in-law: Juanna Heath, of Axson, Susan Lynne & Scott Miller, of Andalusia, AL, and Carin Cribbs Guzman, of Fargo; four sons & daughters-in-law: Mark & Paulette Cribbs, of Fargo, Elton Jr. & Terry Cribbs, of Jasper, FL, Jerry Sr. & Christine Cribbs, of Jasper, FL, and Gerald Cribbs, of Jacksonville, FL; five sisters & brothers-in-law: Mary Alice & Bobby Joe Guess, of Pearson, Nellouise Ellis, of Fargo, Ima Jean & Merle Knowles, of Fargo, Rose Daniels, of Connecticut, and Little Mamie French, of Texas; four brothers & sisters-in-law: Allen & Wesley Jane Cribbs, James Elmer & Wanda Cribbs, Willard & Ruth Cribbs, all of Jasper, FL, and Dennis Lamar & Karen Cribbs, Lakeland, GA; sixteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several other relatives. Services for Mr. Cribbs will be held Friday, May 8, 2009 at four o’clock from the Higher Heights Christian Fellowship Church. Internment will be in the Ramah Cemetery. The family will receive friends from the Higher Heights Christian Fellowship Church, May 7, 2009, from 6 til 9.
