DuPont, GA Mr. Neil Clifton Corbitt, 95, passed away Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, in the Langdale Hospice House, Valdosta, following an extended illness. Mr. Corbitt was born Sept. 1, 1920, in Statenville, GA, to the late Martin Corbitt and Rosa Thompson Corbitt. He had worked for the City of Rainsville AL Water Department and was a member of the DuPont Full Gospel Misssion. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving during World War II. Survivors are his wife: Ollie Clowers Corbitt, DuPont; four daughters: Rebecca Corbitt, Florida, Debra Corbitt, Montana, Anna Ballenger, DuPont, and Rachel Corbitt, Colorado; three sons: Daniel Corbitt, Florida, Stephen Corbitt, Alabama and Mark Corbitt, Florida; ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and a number of nieces & nephews and other relatives.
