Danny Wayne Reeves

Homerville, GA Mr. Danny Wayne Reeves, 64, passed away Monday, Feb. 15, 2016, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family, following a short illness. Mr. Reeves was born June 13, 1951, in Newnan, GA, to the late Williard Reeves and Grace Fowler Reeves. He had worked for Stephen Rampie as a log truck drive and was a member of the Clinch County Fire Department. He was preceded in death by one sister: Barbara Hopkins. Survivors are his wife: Dephene Griffis Reeves, Homerville; three daughters and a son-in-law: Maggie Reeves and Melissa Reeves, both of West Palm Beach, FL and Vickie & Marvin Sherrod, Homerville: two sons and daughters-in-law: Marvin & Jane Welch, Homerville and Lamar & Gladys Welch, Sr., Fargo; one brother & sister-in-law: Tommy & Lynn Reeves, West Palm Beach, FL; nine grandchildren: Lamar & Mary Welch, Jr., Marty & Tammilea Welch, Jonathan & Ruby Welch, Courtney & John Steedley, Summer Musgrove, Myrinda Hill, Rebecca Collins, Pamela Harrell and Mikki & Richard Yawn; twenty four great grandchildren, special friend, Patricia Stalvey a number of nieces & nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mr. Reeves will be held Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2016, at two o’clock in the Fargo Church of God. Interment will be in the Fargo Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016, from 6 till 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Reeves will be carried to the church one hour prior to the services.
