Homerville, GA Mrs. Sherrie Elaine Sutton Turner Booth, 53, passed away, Sunday, January 17, 2016, in the Mayo Clinic Hospital, Waycross, following a sudden illness. Mrs. Booth was born April 11, 1962 in Homerville, GA to Roland Sutton, Sr., and the late Sandra K. Dial Sutton. She was employed with the Clinch County Sheriff’s office as a clerk and dispatcher for over twenty years. Survivors other than her father, is her husband: Jesse Booth, Homerville; two sons and a daughter-in-law: Jeb & Janie Turner and Jess Booth, all of Homerville; one brother & sister-in-law: Roland & Kim Sutton, Jr., Homerville; six grandchildren: Mackenzie Turner, Jet Turner, LilyKay Turner, Robert Lee, Bryce Lee and Jesse L. “JayL” Booth, IV, all of Homerville, special friends: Sissy Suggs and Patti Herrin; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Booth will be held Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016 at two o’clock in the Homerville Congregational Methodist Church. Interment will be in the New Pine Grove Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 till 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Booth will be carried to the church one hour prior to the services.
