Homerville, GA Mrs. Ora Lee Lewis, 97, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2009, at her son’s home in Lake City, SC. She had resided in South Carolina since 1992. She was born on August 6, 1911, to the late Jack and Georgeann Guest Corbitt. She was a homemaker, cafeteria worker and avid fisher. Ora is survived by a daughter, Ona herring (Jack) of Clewiston, FL. and three sons, Kenneth (Sue) Lewis, of Clewiston, FL., Ronnie (terry) Lewis of Moncks Corner, SC., and Donald (Kathy) Lewis of Lake City, SC., two daughter-in-laws, Betty (Garth) of Belle Glade, FL. and Carol (Gene) of Valdosta, GA. She is survived by one sister, Frankie Cook, of Nashville, GA. Ora is preceded in death by her husband, Lester, two sons, Garth and Gene, grandson Blake, and three sisters, Matilda, Cleo and Becky. She was blessed with seventeen grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren, and sever great-great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She loved her family dearly. Services will be held Friday, April 10, 2009 at two o’clock from the Roundtree Funeral Home. Relatives and friends are welcome at the funeral home at 12:30pm until time of service for visitation. Internment will be held at the Arabia Cemetery. Roundtree Funeral Home is serving the Lewis Family.
