Homerville, GA Mrs. Minnie Frances Howard Singletary, 82, passed away Wednesday, Mar. 18, 2009, at her residence. Mrs. Singletary was born April 11, 1926, in Jacksonville, FL, to the late Louis Howard & Elizabeth “Lizzie” Maeready Howard. She was a member of the Nashville Holiness Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lankford Singletary, one brother, John L. Howard, & one sister, Stella Bennett. Survivors are three daughters: Frances Bradley, of Fargo, GA, Sue Moore, of Nashville, GA, and Cherry Lamoreaux, of Homerville, GA; one sister: Penny Sellie, of Moultrie, GA; seven grandchildren: Stacy Lynn “Blondie” Cope, of Nashville, Dawn Belissa “Dawn Baby” Lanier, of Waresboro, Teresa Ann “Crickett” McCluskey, of Nashville, Loretta Lynn “Tiger” Griffis, of Homerville, Gregory Hastings “Man” Infinger, of Nashville, Charles Leroy “BoPete” Odum, of Homerville, & Iris Danielle “Little Bit” Odum, of Nashville; eighteen great-grandchildren; & several other relatives. Services for Mrs. Singletary will be held Sunday, March 22, 2009, at three o’clock from the Fargo Church of God. Interment will be in the Fargo Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friend from the Roundtree Funeral Home Saturday Evening, March 21, 2009, from 6 til 8pm. Mrs. Singletary will be carried to the church one hour prior to services.
