Homerville, GA Mrs. Ida M. Tiller, 91, passed away Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015, in the Waycross Health and Rehabilitation Center, Waycross, surrounded by her loving family, following an extended illness. Mrs. Tiller was born Sept. 18, 1924, in McIntosh County, GA to the late Ed West and Diannah Boyd West. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband: John Tiller, Sr.; two brothers: Joe West and George Boyd; two sisters: Eddie Lee Dumas and Carrie Hardee. Survivors are one daughter and son-in-law: Ann & Smiley Wells, Homerville; two sons & daughters-in-law: John & Barbara Tiller, Jr. DuPont and Karry & Kelli Tiller, Homerville; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Francina & Sam Patterson, Waycross, Delia & Norman Williams, Homerville and Daisy Favors, Pearson, GA; one brother: Joe Cooper, Miami, FL one sister-in-law: Bertha West, Homerville; one brother-in-law: Willie Hardee, Homerville; fourteen grandchildren: Von Wells, Tony Tiller, Crystal Tiller, Santez Tiller, Danielle Gainy, Karry Tiller, Jr., Marinda Jones, Jeremy Troy, Jasmine Nelson, Jashae Nelson, Jacoba Nelson, Jakerra Nelson, Lamar Williams and Jaoliyah Nelson, a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Tiller will be held Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015, at three o’clock in the Lighthouse Assembly of God. Interment will be in the Duncan Cemetery, Atkinson County, GA. The family will receive friends, Saturday Nov. 7, 2015, from 2 til 3 p.m. at the Lighthouse Assembly of God.
