Fargo, GA Mrs. Doris E. Vinson Long, 79, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2015, at her residence. Mrs. Long was born Oct. 28, 1935, in Calhoun County, FL, to the late William H. Vinson and Trudie Mae Lollie Vinson. She was the owner/operator of Doris Long’s Day Care in Macclenny, FL for over twenty years. She was a member of the Edith Baptist Church and was preceded in death by one sister: Mary Waldron; and two brothers: Richard Vinson and Willard Vinson. Survivors are three daughters and sons-in-law: Sarah and Robert Glass, Havana FL, Carlene and Don Rea and Suzanne Tyson, all of Fargo; one sister: Diana Guy, Hahira, GA; two brothers: Jerry Vinson, Middleburg, FL and James W. Vinson, Blountstown, FL; three grandchildren: Rebecca Smith, Dewayne Willis and Walker Tyson; six great grandchildren: Tiffany Hibner, Sarah & Jantzen Chance, Kaylee Maxwell, Sophie Cain, Alexis Graddy and Callie Willis; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Long will be held Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, at four o’clock in the Edith Baptist Church, Fargo. Interment will be in the Fargo Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends, Saturday, Oct. 24 2015, from 3 til 4 p.m. at the Edith Baptist Church.
