Homerville, GA Mr. Cameron David Corbitt, 20, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015, following an automobile accident. Mr. Corbitt was born Nov. 3, 1994, in Valdosta, GA. He worked for Hood Timber Company as a skidder operator. Cameron was always working on motors ever since he could walk and follow his Daddy around the yard. He enjoyed big trucks, bogging, riding dirt roads while listening to country music, and picking his guitar. He loved life and being with his family. He was very excited as he and his fiancé are expecting a baby girl. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents: J. E. & Clyde Tucker, David & Lessie Watson, Sr., Woodson & Margie Graddy, Payton & Mary Etta Wilson, Vonnie Miller, Mary Corbitt, and William Browning. Survivors are his mother & stepfather: Beverly “Sissy” W. & Anthony Hayes, Fargo; his father & stepmother: Danny Lamar & Nancy Corbitt, Homerville: his fiancé: Ashley Cooper, Tifton; two sisters and a brother-in-law: Marla & Jerome Riley, and Madison Corbitt, all of Homerville; brother and fiancé: Danny Lamar “Bubba” Corbitt and Allie Smith, Manor; two stepbrothers: Avery Hayes, Fargo and Bryce Smith, Homerville; maternal grandparents: Deborah & David Watson, Fargo; paternal grandparents: Ralph & Eloise Wilson and Sadie & Jerry Corbitt, all of Homerville; paternal great grandfather: Herman Corbitt, Homerville; paternal great grandmother: Arlene Browning, Homerville; aunts & uncles: Bridgett & Jim Colley, Benji & Marissa Watson, Julie & Buddy Davis, Diana & Terry Henderson, and Jennifer & Phillip Bryant; six nephews and nieces: Blaze, Izzy, Ana, Zane, Addy and Raelynn; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services for Mr. Corbitt will be held Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, at eleven o’clock in the Trinity Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Lang Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends, Friday, Oct. 2, 2015, from 6 til 8 p.m. at the Trinity Baptist Church.
