Pensacola, FL/Homerville, GA Mrs. Peggy Young Banjanin crossed over into God’s loving care on Friday, Dec. 12, 2008. Peggy lived her life always caring for people and for the animals God sent her way. Peg spent 6 years as the Legislative Aide to Tom Banjanin, in the Florida Legislature. She was a Commissioner’s Aide to former County Commissioner, Tom Banjanin, District 4 for 12 years. Many Pensacolians will remember her loving spirit as she assisted those with needs, especially during hurricane Ivan. Peggy was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Waiting for our crossing over, she leaves her loving husband, Tom Banjanin; her mother, Stella Carroll; twin sisters, Jan Harnish and Sue Loveless: her daughter, Jennifer Young: her granddaughter, Calla Banjanin; nephew, Jason Loveless; sister-in-law; Pat Banjanin; stepdaughter, Sari Banjanin; brothers-in-law, Earl Dion Loveless and John Harnish; and many family members and friends who will miss her dearly. Peg was lovingly cared for by Dr. Sunnenberg and his wonderful staff, the Joyce Goldenberg Hospice Residence who are truly God's angels and a special thanks to Doug Marks with Homecare services of the Emerald Coast for transporting Peggy's 95 year old mother to be with Peggy as she passed over. Service for Mrs. Banjanin will be held Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008 at two o’clock in the chapel of Roundtree Funeral Home. Internment will be in the North Cemetery, DuPont, GA. The family will receive friends Monday, Dec. 15, 2008 from 6 till 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The light of God surronds Peggy, the love of God enfolds her, the power of God protects her and the presence of God watches over her, wherever Peggy is, God is, and all is well.
