Betty Paulynne Crews

Homerville, GA Mrs. Betty Paulynne Griffis Crews, 86, passed away Monday, Jan. 5, 2015 in the South Georgia Medical Center, Valdosta, GA following an extended illness. Mrs. Crews was born Jan. 9, 1928, in Homerville, GA, to the late Farley Griffis and Ida Griffis. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lang Country Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Crews and a brother Bill Griffis. Survivors are two daughters and a son-in-law: Kimberly Crews, Dallas, TX and Jennifer & Robyn Merritt, Homerville; two sons and a daughter-in-law: Sonny Paul Crews, Homerville and Christopher & Emily Crews, Stockton; two sisters: Ruth Allen, Homerville and Artice Wildes, Waycross; three grandchildren: Brian Merritt, Kayden Merritt & Bentley Joshua Crews; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Crews will be held, Friday, Jan. 9, 2015 at two o’clock in the Lang Country Church. Interment will be in the Wayfare Church Cemetery, Statenville. The family will receive friends, Thursday, Jan. 8, 2014 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Crews will be carried to the church one hour prior to the services.
